The historie of "No Work Team"

In 1984, 3 crazy windsurfers from Italy (Andrea Ippolito, Mauro Goggi, and Toto Volpe) made their first holiday in Fuerteventura (Canary Islands).

So windsurfing and enjoying live day by day and week by week they forgot all the stress from home and one day when they once again had a funtastic windsurfing day review, they saw where their future was heading. So they decided to resume their lives so far and to start a new one according to the motto "Working is for people who do not windsurf".

Every windsurfer has this dream every day, but our three Italians had the courage to live their dream of strong winds and high waves of truth and they created the No Work Team and soon opened their first NWT surf shop in Caralejo where they took theirs Own T-shirts with the first No Work Team logos. Today, there are about 10 original NWT shops all over the world where you can have good surfing, windsurfing or kitesurfing like. Tarifa, Gargano, Cabarete, El Jaque.

The NWT shop in Cabarete was opened in 1994 (500 years after Columbus arrived) by Andrea Ippolito, one of the founders of NWT. He is still responsible for the production in Italy and the shops in Vieste (South-Italy) and Isla Margarita (Venezuela). In 1991 the German diploma sports instructor and windsurf instructor Joerg Berres joined the NWT in Italy and took over the NWT shop in Cabarete in the spring of 1997.
